IILLUMINA WINES
Since the initial launch of Inwood Estates wines, Mr. Gatlin’s son, Spencer, joined Mr. Gatlin in the winemaking and research efforts and together they worked to expand the reach of Inwood’s vineyard locations and vinifera plantings across the state. In 2014, the Gatlins started one of the most diversely planted vineyards in the State of Texas in Gillespie County inside the Texas Hill Country AVA. Vines grown in this newest vineyard enabled the launch of the Illumina brand wines.
The Illumina wines are not a second label to Inwood Estates, but rather, represent a new development effort allowing the exploration of single varietal winemaking and providing new diversity to our overall lineup. Harvest loads for these wines are maintained at 2.0 tons per acre, allowing a richly concentrated expression of each varietal.
Shipping restrictions:
All orders ship via FedEx Ground service. Tracking notifications will be sent by FedEx to the email address provided in your order.

Due to legal restrictions, we cannot ship to the following states: AR, AK, CT, DE, HI, MD, MS, MI, NH, NJ, OH, RI, SD, UT, VT, WV.
When your order will ship:
Orders to residential addresses in Texas and contiguous states ship Monday through Thursday.
Other out-of-state orders ship only on Mondays or Tuesdays to minimize the risk of bottles being stored in unconditioned spaces over the weekend.
In hot summer months, we use special insulated shippers with ice bricks to prevent your wine from overheating. All orders placed late in the week will ship early in the following week.
