Illumina Petit Verdot 2018

Petit Verdot is a great varietal for Texas.  It easy to grow, resilient, reliable, and makes extraordinary wine. We have been growing it for quite a while, but using everything for our Bordeaux blends. 2018 was the first year we finally had enough grapes to consider releasing a varietal Illumina.

 

This Petite Verdot is very dark, rich, and dense with a voluminous texture. It overflows with luscious, fruit-juicy blackberry and currant flavors and aromatics.
