Illumina Touriga Nacionale 2017

Touriga Nacional originates from Portugal where it serves predominantly as the foundation of most port wines. Although low yielding due to the small size of its grapes, Touriga offers high tannins in a concentrated black fruit flavor profile with notable spice. We produce Touriga in its dry format, and our first venture into Touriga in 2017 went very well and sold out quickly. Now the 2018 version follows with the same characteristic pepper spice and field flower aromatics for which the variety is famous. Ready to drink immediately, expect peak drinkability between 2023-2025.
