2020 Illumina Petit Verdot

Petit Verdot is a great varietal for Texas.  It easy to grow, resilient, reliable, and makes extraordinary wine. After a long history of growing it for our Bordeaux blends. 2018 was the first year we finally released a single varietal Illumina.  This 2020 vintage marks our Third release.

 

This Petite Verdot is very dark, rich, and dense with a voluminous texture. It overflows with luscious, fruit-juicy blackberry and currant flavors and aromatics.
